Getting around the neighbourhood just got easier! A newly completed bridge and shared pathway now connect JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa directly to Matalay, making it easy for guests to walk, cycle or hop on a buggy to explore the lively Memories Surf Village.

From catching waves at Memories Beach to enjoying the laid-back atmosphere of Memories Beach Bar, discovering Memories Surf House or visiting Khao Lak Elephant Home, there's plenty to experience just around the corner. More than just a convenient new route, this connection brings neighbouring communities closer, encouraging visitors to venture out, meet local people and experience the authentic charm of Khao Lak.

Two Exciting New Additions to the Neighbourhood

And there's more good news!

Marriott International has signed an agreement with KS Hotels & Resorts to introduce two hotel brands at Matalay: Moxy Khao Lak Memories Beach and Matalay Khao Lak, Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy. The planned openings will mark Moxy's debut in Southern Thailand and the arrival of Thailand's first Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy.

Together with the neighbouring JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa, the new hotels will bring even more life to Matalay’s growing coastal community, offering new experiences for visitors and creating opportunities for local businesses.
